Set the screen resolution by editing the Openbox autostart.sh file.

1. Open your autostart file for editing, right-click on your desktop and select "Preferences -> Openbox Config -> Edit autostart.sh"
2. Add a new reference to xrandr, somewhere near the top would be best:
# set screen resolution
xrandr --size 1024x768 &
3. reboot

To get NetBIOS name resolution of your license manager.

1. install winbind & samba
2. reboot
3. Verify by testing from windows computer c:\> nbtstat -A <I.P.Addy>
   Of course, <I.P.Addy> is the ip address of your license managaer
